About this model
This container home 3d model turns two 40 foot shipping containers into a cheerful two-storey home. The sky blue lower box rests on concrete blocks and the coral upper box sits on top with a 2.5 m offset, so one end shelters a seating corner and the other leaves room for a roof deck with wooden boards and a white railing. An open staircase climbs to the deck, three solar panels lie on the roof, and corrugated walls, corner posts and castings keep the container character. White framed windows, a glass sliding wall, a glazed end wall and the original cargo doors with locking bars add detail. The yellow front door swings on its hinge pivot from a long wooden porch. Measuring 16 x 4.7 m and 6 m in height, it carries 34,861 triangles plus 2K PBR maps. It pairs well with the industrial Shipping Container, yet it is clearly a place to live.
