The .blend files are saved with a current Blender release (5.x). Working in an older version? Import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0 instead: it carries the same mesh and textures and needs no add-ons. Scale is real-world metres, and the glTF importer converts the Y-up file to Blender’s Z-up automatically, so blender models from this library line up with each other and with your own scenes.

Import into Blender in four steps

  1. Pick a model below and open its page: the download panel lists every file with its size.
  2. Download the .blend and open it with File › Open, or bring the object into an existing scene with File › Append › Object.
  3. Prefer glTF? Download the GLB and use File › Import › glTF 2.0 (.glb/.gltf). No add-ons needed.
  4. Check the size in the N panel: one Blender unit is one metre, so models match each other and the default grid.

Frequently asked questions

Which Blender version do I need?

The .blend files are saved with Blender 5.x. Older releases may not read files from a newer version correctly, so on Blender 4.x or earlier import the GLB or the FBX instead: they carry the same mesh and textures.

Are the textures included in the .blend file?

Yes. The textures are packed into the .blend, so nothing goes missing when you move the file. Use File › External Data › Unpack Resources if you want them as separate image files.

Do the GLB files work in Blender, too?

Yes. File › Import › glTF 2.0 reads every GLB here, including the High Detail and rigged files, and converts the axes to Blender’s Z-up.

Can I use these models in a commercial project?

Yes. Every model is released under CC0 1.0: you may use it commercially, modify it and redistribute it, and attribution is optional.
