OBJ
Free OBJ models for any 3D tool: OBJ is the oldest common denominator among 3D formats, and almost every modelling, rendering and viewing program can open it. Each download is a ZIP with the .obj mesh, the .mtl material file and the texture images: all CC0.

OBJ stores static geometry only (no rigs, animations or scene hierarchy) and its material format predates PBR, so roughness, metallic and normal maps may have to be connected by hand in some programs. When your software supports GLB or FBX, those keep more of the model intact. OBJ is the fallback that always opens.

An OBJ model is several files: the mesh (.obj), the material library (.mtl) and the textures. The ZIP keeps them together so the relative paths still work after the download.
No. OBJ cannot store skeletons or animations. For rigged characters, use the rigged FBX, GLB or .blend from the model page.
Yes. Every model is released under CC0 1.0: you may use it commercially, modify it and redistribute it, and attribution is optional.
