Every space crew needs a handheld screen for orders, maps and repair notes. This sci-fi data pad 3d model is 25 x 17 cm, about 2 cm thick, and lies flat with its display facing up. The white top shell and the grey bottom shell meet at a real parting seam that runs all around. The slightly raised dark screen shows only abstract shapes, a glowing cyan wave, a small bar chart and two status lines, so there is no unreadable text to hide. To the right sit round buttons in cyan, lilac and orange with a tiny status light, to the left a column of speaker dots, and a lilac stylus rests in a groove along the back edge. Compared with the everyday Tablet it has a chunkier, toy-like look. The model uses 3,496 triangles and 2K PBR textures.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.02 m = 2 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
