About this model
Before the steel bins, corn was dried in airy cribs like this one. The 4 m long store stands on six stilts with stone footings, so air flows underneath and mice stay out. Its slatted walls flare outward towards the top, made of silver grey weathered boards with a visible grain, and through every gap you can see a pile of yellow corn cobs. A corrugated galvanized gable roof with a rounded ridge roll keeps the rain off. At the right gable end there is a small plank door with a Z brace, strap hinges and a latch, reached by three wooden steps, and a few loose cobs with pale husks lie in front. This corn crib 3d model is about 5.5 m long including the steps, 2.6 m wide and 3.6 m tall, with 18,684 triangles and 2K PBR textures. It looks great next to the Barn and the Grain Bin.
