About this model
The typical farm grain bin of the Midwest, rebuilt in a friendly toy style. Six rings of galvanized sheet form the wall, with fine horizontal corrugations and vertical stiffeners, all standing on a round concrete foundation. A ribbed cone roof rises to a red vent cap, and a small round hatch sits beside the roof ladder. An outside ladder with a safety cage leads up to the eave, where handrails guide you onto the roof ladder. Near the ground there is a curved red access door with hinges and a handle, and an aeration fan with a duct and a protective grille is bolted to the base on its own small slab. Unlike the Industrial Silo it has no legs and no hopper, it sits flat on the ground like a real storage bin. This grain bin 3d model is 7.3 m wide, 7.7 m tall and uses 15,612 triangles with 2K PBR textures.
