About this model
A round dwelling that is all about its roof. The gently battered clay wall, 5 m across, stands on a ring of individually set field stones and carries a painted terracotta band near the ground. Above it rises a steep cone of straw in four overlapping layers, each with a softly scalloped lip, tied off near the tip with a dark binding ring and finished with a little top knot. A honey plank door in a dark wooden frame is a separate object hinged on the left, small windows with sage shutters look out to three sides, and a stone step, a log bench, clay pots and leafy shrubs gather around the base. This straw hut 3d model spans 6.8 m across the eaves, reaches 5.6 m and has 26,868 triangles with 2K PBR textures. Plain and free of cultural ornaments, its round form sets it apart from the felt-covered Yurt and the rectangular Thatched Cottage.

Engine import notes
Unity GLB · FBX
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Unreal Engine FBX
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (5.62 m = 562 cm).
Godot 4 GLB · FBX
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Blender BLEND · GLB
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
