About this model
A cozy mill house with a ground floor of pale rubble stone with peach accents and an upper floor clad in ochre boards, under a steep coral tile roof. White-framed windows, green shutters and a green double door give it a friendly face, and a millstone leans against the wall beside a pair of grain sacks. On the gable side turns the star of the show: a big dark wooden overshot wheel with many buckets, fed from above by a long timber flume on tall trestles. The flume holds still water behind a closed sluice gate. The wheel is a separate object with its origin on the axle, so it can rotate continuously. It is the working heart of the Cozy Houses & Village Kit. Tip: open the sluice with a water particle effect and start the wheel spinning at the same moment.
