About this model
Olive trees get their charm from age, and this one shows it in the trunk: three twisted strands wind around each other and split apart into separate limbs, all in a light, warm bark tone. Above, a loose canopy of flat leaf clusters in silvery sage green spreads wide, and tiny lavender-colored olives hang in little bunches along its underside. The muted foliage color sets it apart from the brighter greens of other trees and immediately suggests dry heat and sunshine. Use it for Mediterranean villages, hillside groves, vineyards, Greek islands or a courtyard in a southern town. Tip: plant olive trees in loose rows on a terraced slope and add a stone wall below them. The classic grove look comes together in minutes.
