About this model
Bait it, drop it and come back tomorrow. This lobster trap 3d model is a classic 70 cm wooden pot with three bent bows on a slatted base with side rails, covered all around by light slats with gaps to look through. At both ends a hemp net funnel with an iron ring forms the entrance, and two flat ballast stones lie inside. The top hatch of three short slats with cross battens, rope hinges and a brass hook is a separate object called lobster-trap_hatch whose pivot lies on the hinge line, so it can swing open. A twisted rope leads from the trap to a red and teal spindle float with a wooden stick lying next to it. Stack several on a pier or put one on the deck of the Fishing Boat. The model has 17,140 triangles and baked 2K PBR textures.
