About this model
Eight bells and all is well. This ship's bell 3d model hangs a polished brass bell, 32 cm across the mouth, from an iron eye bolt in a sturdy wooden gallows. The bell is truly hollow with a thick lip and two raised rings. The frame has two posts with head braces, a crossbeam with brass end caps, diagonal foot braces and a base of light planks with a thin teal stripe. Below the bell hangs a twisted bell rope with a decorative knot and a tassel. The clapper and rope form one separate object named ships-bell_clapper with its origin at the hanging point, so you can swing it around the X axis and ring the bell in your game. The whole stand is 88 cm high. It differs from the small Hand Bell of the Curiosities Kit by size, frame and use. The model has 10,244 triangles and baked 2K PBR textures.
Good for
- Watch bell on a ship's deck
- Harbor or lighthouse signal bell
- Interactive bell with a swinging clapper
- Tavern or museum decoration

Engine import notes
Unity GLB · FBX
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Unreal Engine FBX
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.88 m = 88 cm).
Godot 4 GLB · FBX
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Blender BLEND · GLB
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
