Cast a line by the lake with this fishing rod 3D model. The 2 m spinning rod rests in a forked branch with its butt on the ground, so it already looks like someone is waiting for a bite. It has cork grips, a dark reel seat, a forest green blank and seven metal guides that shrink toward the gently bent tip. Under the handle sits a spinning reel with a dark body, a mustard spool full of cream line, a wire bail and a crank. The line runs through every guide to the tip and drops straight down to a round coral and white float on the ground. There is no hook, which keeps the prop friendly for every audience. The scene spans 1.90 x 0.09 x 0.75 m and uses 11,112 triangles with 2K PBR textures.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.75 m = 75 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
