About this model
A sturdy workshop vise with a green painted cast body that sits on a dark steel base plate. The base has two mounting lugs with real bolt holes and a swivel turntable with two clamping levers, and a small steel anvil area sits behind the fixed jaw. Serrated steel inserts with screws line both jaws. For interactive workbenches, the sliding jaw with its guide bar and the spindle with its tommy bar are separate objects with their origins on the spindle axis at the front. Slide the jaw forward to open it and spin the spindle along with it for a convincing clamping motion. Bolt it to the edge of the workbench from the Cozy Tools & Workshop Kit, or use it as a puzzle element that must grip an object to progress.
