About this model
A pair of combination pliers, simplified into clean shapes but still true to the real tool. Two forged steel halves cross in a lap joint at the rivet. The jaws carry gripping serrations at the tip and a round notch for holding pipes, and the gently curved handles are covered by soft red sleeves with small finger guards. The lower half, steel and grip together, is its own object with the pivot on the rivet axis, so a small rotation opens the jaws. That is handy for an equip animation, a repair minigame or a close-up in a tutorial. The pliers lie flat, ideal for scattering on a bench, in a drawer or inside a toolbox. They belong to the Cozy Tools & Workshop Kit alongside the screwdriver and the wrench. Tip: a quick open and close snap reads well as feedback when the player cuts a wire.
