About this model
The box is painted sky blue and set on a beech plinth, with inlaid symbols on every side: a yellow star in front, a heart on the right, a moon on the left and a circle at the back. Out of it springs a friendly clown on a thick mint coil, wearing a flower collar, peach curls and a blue pointed hat, with button eyes, pink cheeks, a red ball nose and a wide smile. Two parts can move: the lid is hinged on the left and comes open, so a single rotation shuts it, and the crank on the right side turns on its own axle. That is all you need for the classic gag of winding the crank until the lid pops and the clown bounces out. Place it on a shelf in a playroom or use it as a jump scare that is more funny than frightening.
