About this model
The kind of kart you rent for a few laps on a Saturday afternoon. A low coral tube frame holds a black bucket seat, and chunky butter-yellow bumpers wrap around the front, the sides and the rear like soft cushions. A blank yellow nose panel waits for your own start number. On the right-hand side sits a silver single-cylinder engine with cooling fins and a chain drive to the rear axle. The four small wheels have black tires with cream rims and coral hubs. They roll on their axles, the front pair steers, and the steering wheel is a separate object that turns around its column. A Cozy Boats & Aircraft Kit piece, ready for real-time use. Tip: slightly exaggerate body roll and front-wheel steering in corners, and the kart feels lively even at low speed.
