About this model
Every castaway dreams of building one. This pirate raft 3d model is about 3 m long and 2 m wide and floats on seven round logs with light end grain, held together by three cross logs tied with rope. A small platform of planks carries a barrel and a cargo crate. In the middle a mast stands on a foot block and holds a yard with a cream square sail, stitched with patches in parchment, butter yellow and coral. Stays and sheets run down to the logs. A lantern post at the front corner carries a small brass lamp whose flame glows warmly, and a steering oar rests in a fork at the stern. It is rougher and more adventurous than the Rowboat of our boat collection and suits island escapes. The raft lies flat on the ground and has 27,726 triangles plus baked 2K PBR textures.
