About this model

The humble shepherd's weapon, made friendly for cozy adventures. A padded leather pouch with tapering ends curls up around a smooth, round grey pebble. Brass eyelets sit at both ends, and from each one a twisted red cord runs across the ground in a gentle wave. One cord ends in a finger loop held by a small brass sleeve, the other in a round release knot with a short tail. Everything lies loosely spread out, ready to be picked up as loot or placed on a camp table. This is the classic cord sling of shepherds and young heroes, and it pairs well with the stones of the Cozy Adventure Kit campfire. Laid out it spans 0.60 x 0.07 x 0.05 m and uses 9,512 triangles with 2K PBR textures. Pouch, pebble and cords form one static model.

Good for

  • Starter weapon for a young hero or shepherd
  • Loot item on a camp table or in a chest
  • Throwing minigame or hunting prop
  • Shop item in a village market

Engine import notes

Unity GLB · FBX

Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.

Unreal Engine FBX

Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.05 m = 5 cm).

Godot 4 GLB · FBX

Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).

Blender BLEND · GLB

Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
