About this model
Build any roof from one piece. This roof tile section 3d model is a 2.0 by 2.0 m patch of roof with real layers: two timber rafters 1.0 m apart, twelve honey coloured battens and on top coral beaver tail tiles with rounded ends. Every row is offset by half a tile and rests on the row below, so the surface shows soft steps and shadows. All spacings divide 2.0 m exactly, and tile parts that pass the top edge wrap round to the eaves side, which lets copies sit edge to edge along X and Y without visible joints. The section is modelled flat with the eaves towards minus Y, so you simply tilt it to the pitch you need. It complements the half gable Modular Roof Segment of our modular building kit and the pitched roofs of the Cozy Buildings Kit. Size 2.0 x 2.0 x 0.25 m, 13,760 triangles.
