About this model
A cheerful ladybug sits on a thick steel coil spring, which in turn is bolted to a square base plate. Its coral-red shell carries dark spots and a centre seam, with a yellow seat on top, and the dark head shows big round eyes, pink cheeks, a smile and two antennae ending in yellow balls. Yellow hand grips stick out at the sides and foot pegs sit lower down. The ladybug and the spring form a separate object with its pivot at the spring foot, while the base plate stays in place, which means you only have to tilt that object back and forth to make it rock. Add a little overshoot to the motion for a springy feel. It fits parks, schoolyards and garden scenes, and pairs nicely with the seesaw from the Cozy Playground & Gym Kit.
