About this model

A 3d printer 3d model of the open cartesian type, drawn as an original pastel design. A mint base with a glowing colour field display and a knob carries aluminium extrusions with dark slots, two Z columns and a top bar, plus a Z lead screw with its motor. The X gantry rides on lavender carriages and holds the print head with fan shroud, heater block, brass nozzle and extruder motor. Pink filament runs from the spool on the top holder straight into the extruder. On the gold print sheet stands a half printed twisted vase in mint, its rim right under the nozzle. The print head is its own object that slides along X, and the bed with the vase moves along Y, so you can animate a print job. It is a different machine from the paper printer of the electronics set. Size 43.8 x 37.2 x 67.4 cm with spool, 21,436 triangles, 4K PBR textures.

Unreal Engine FBX

Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.67 m = 67 cm).

Godot 4 GLB · FBX

Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
