About this model
A charming desk globe for studies, classrooms and captain's cabins. The 26 cm ball is sky blue with soft raised continent shapes in mint, sage and butter yellow plus white polar caps. The land masses are invented blobs with no real borders, so the globe fits any fantasy world. A full brass meridian ring with small tick marks every ten degrees holds the ball on axis pins, tilted 23.5 degrees like the real thing, and carries a little finial on top. Below it a brass holder rises from a turned walnut foot with a gold ring. The ball is a separate object named globe_sphere with its origin in the centre, ready to spin around its tilted axis in an animation or an interactive scene. It stands 40 cm high and has 11,904 triangles with 2K PBR textures.
Good for
- Study or library desk
- Classroom or school scene

Engine import notes
Unity GLB · FBX
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Unreal Engine FBX
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.40 m = 40 cm).
Godot 4 GLB · FBX
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Blender BLEND · GLB
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
