About this model
A trusty explorer's compass for treasure hunts, quest logs and map tables. The round brass case has a soft bead around the side and a small push button at the front. Under a flat clear glass lies a cream card with 72 tick marks and no letters, a sky blue four point wind rose over a patina star, a small coral triangle as north mark and a faceted needle with a coral tip on a brass cap. The hinged lid is a separate object with its pivot on the hinge axis. It is shown open, carries a round mirror inside and an engraved eight point star on top, and closes with one rotation. Unlike the Pocket Watch from the same kit it points the way instead of telling time. Open it measures 8.2 x 10.9 x 9.7 cm with a case of 8 cm, built from 8,386 triangles with 2K PBR textures.
