The trusty tool of every detective, naturalist and curious explorer. A round brass rim with a small bead around the outside holds a biconvex lens about 9 cm across. The lens is its own clear glass mesh, left out of the bake and kept transparent, so you can look through it and swap in a refraction shader if your engine has one. A short brass neck with a ferrule and two rings leads to a gently bellied walnut handle that ends in a rounded brass cap. The magnifier lies in a natural resting pose, touching the floor with the rim and the end of the handle, which makes it easy to drop onto a desk, a map or a crime scene table. It is 25 cm long, 11 cm wide and has 7,008 triangles with 2K PBR textures.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.03 m = 3 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
