About this model
Something in this attic was meant to stay shut. The padlocked chest 3d model is an old plank chest painted in old rose, with the paint flaking off the edges, dark wood battens and plinth and a gently domed plank lid. Tarnished brass protects all corners. A hasp from the lid drops over an iron staple, and a large brass padlock holds it closed while an old iron chain runs from two rings on the front straight through the shackle. A fine cobweb between chain and front suggests nobody has touched the lock in years. The lid is its own object with the hinge on the rear edge, so it can open in your game to reveal a folded lavender quilt inside, while lock and chain stay on the body. It is flatter and far more mysterious than the bright Treasure Chest. Size 0.94 x 0.58 x 0.48 m, 12,252 triangles.
