About this model
The smallest planet and the closest one to the Sun. This Mercury planet 3D model, not to be confused with the metal, is an 11.6 cm globe with real sculpted craters in three sizes, each with a flat floor and a raised rim. The baked texture adds warm grey and stone tones, darker crater floors, smooth lighter plains in the north and three bright rayed craters whose streaks run far across the surface. Mercury barely tilts, only 0.03 degrees, so its axis stands straight up between the pins of the half round bracket. In the Cozy Space Kit it is darker and warmer than the large Moon, which rests on the ground with big pale craters. It belongs to the planet series with one shared base, column and bracket design. The globe rotates on its own around the vertical axis. Height 34 cm, 14,024 triangles, baked 2K PBR maps.
