About this model
The ringed jewel of the solar system as a display model. This Saturn 3D model has a slightly flattened 24 cm sphere with soft bands of butter, cream, peach and honey and a lavender grey north polar region. Around its equator spreads a 54 cm wide ring system built in real steps: the flat grey C ring inside, the raised B ring in two tiers of cream and butter, the Cassini Division as an open gap and the peach A ring with the narrow Encke Gap. The rings rest on a slim holder strut below the ring plane that is clamped to the axis bracket, and the axis keeps the true tilt of 26.7 degrees. The Cozy Space Kit already has a Ringed Planet that lies on the floor with three loose candy coloured bands, this Saturn stands on the series stand with realistic proportions. The planet spins inside its static rings. Height 45 cm, 19,614 triangles.
