About this model
Built for splitting logs rather than for battle. The heavy wedge-shaped head is painted red, with a freshly ground steel edge that curves slightly outwards and a flat poll on the back for driving wedges. A dark rubber overstrike guard protects the handle right below the head. The light hickory handle has an oval cross section, a gentle curve and a swelled knob at the end, and at the top you can see the steel wedge in the eye. The axe lies flat on the cheek of its head, so it rests convincingly on a chopping block or next to a woodpile. In a survival or farming game it makes an obvious tool for gathering firewood. It completes the outdoor side of the Cozy Tools & Workshop Kit. Tip: combine the swing with a split log mesh and a few wood chips for a satisfying chop.
