About this model
Recognizable at a glance thanks to its mitre, this chess bishop 3d model puts an ivory bishop beside a charcoal one. The head is a smooth egg shape crowned by a small ball, and a narrow diagonal slit is cut into it just like on a real Staunton bishop, so the piece never gets confused with a pawn. A double collar separates the mitre from the tapered stem, which rests on the turned base shared by the whole set, felt pad included. Each bishop is 7 cm tall, the middle height between knight and queen. The forms are softened and slightly chunky for a friendly, toy-like feel that still looks right on a tournament board. Good for diagonal move tutorials, opening trainers and board game props. Both bishops together cover 8.2 by 3.4 cm, stand 7 cm high and use 8,096 triangles with 2K PBR textures.
Good for
- Diagonal move tutorial
- Chess opening trainer
- Board game prop
- Fantasy council or clergy token

Engine import notes
Unity GLB · FBX
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Unreal Engine FBX
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.07 m = 7 cm).
Godot 4 GLB · FBX
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Blender BLEND · GLB
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
