About this model
A clear overview of every chess piece in one row, made for tutorials, rule screens and shop displays. This chess pieces 3d model lines up the pawn, rook, knight, bishop, queen and king from the smallest to the tallest, alternating ivory and charcoal so the two sides of a game are both shown. All six share the same turned base with a bead and a cove and a thin green felt pad, so they read as one family. The rook has a hollow turret with six battlements, the knight a stylized horse head with a scalloped mane, the bishop an egg shaped mitre with its diagonal slit, the queen a coronet of small balls and the king a domed crown with a ball finial and no cross. The row is 26.6 cm long and 9.5 cm high with 19,480 triangles and 2K PBR textures. The same pieces also come one by one in the kit.
