About this model
This caboose 3d model is the classic red crew car that once closed every American freight train. The red wooden body shows fine board seams, cream corner posts, a cream belt rail and cream framed windows. On the roof sits the cupola with windows on all four sides, so the crew could watch the train, and next to it a black stove pipe. The dark roof reaches out over both open end platforms, which have plank floors, cream railings, corner steps and a ladder to the roof. Each end has a door with window and two red marker lanterns that glow. Two short bogies with red wheel discs carry the 10.0 m car, 3.1 m wide and 4.6 m high with 25,764 triangles and 2K PBR textures. To couple with the rest of this cozy set it uses the same 1.05 m buffers and screw coupling instead of a knuckle coupler. Put it at the end of any freight train.
