About this model
This container car 3d model is a freight container car for intermodal trains. A dark skeletal underframe with fish belly sills carries cross beams with steel twistlock spigots, and on them stand one red and one blue 20 ft container. Each box has trapezoid ribs on the sides, ends and roof, dark corner castings and a pair of doors with four vertical locking bars, cam keepers, lever handles and hinges. The doors face outwards, so they show at both ends of the wagon. Grated end platforms with yellow railings, a horizontal hand brake wheel, steps, two bogies and buffers at 1.05 m complete it. It measures 18.0 m over buffers, 2.9 m in width and 3.8 m in height, with 34,810 triangles and 4K PBR textures. For a single standalone box use the Shipping Container.
