About this model
This handcar 3d model shows the classic pump trolley that track workers moved by hand. A red wooden frame with bumper beams carries a deck of honey planks over two wheelsets in axle boxes. In the middle two red A frames hold the pivot of a walnut pump lever with iron fittings and cream T handles at both ends. The lever is a separate object called lever with its origin on the pivot axis, so it can rock up and down by about 15 degrees in a game. Below it a dark gear wheel and a pinion sit in front of the drive housing, a toolbox stands at the back and a small lantern glows at the front. It comes on a 4.0 m track piece with ballast, sleepers and rails that joins the Railway Track. The set is 4.0 m long, 3.7 m wide and 2.1 m high, with 13,870 triangles and 2K PBR textures.
Good for
- Track maintenance scenes
- Animated pump trolleys in games
- Wild West and mining railways
- Countryside railway dioramas

Engine import notes
Unity GLB · FBX
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Unreal Engine FBX
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (2.13 m = 213 cm).
Godot 4 GLB · FBX
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Blender BLEND · GLB
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
