About this model
A cheerful civil submersible built for exploring reefs and shipwrecks, with no weapons in sight. The butter-yellow hull has a white belly, a coral band behind the big navy viewing dome and a row of round navy portholes along each side. A small conning tower on top carries a coral hatch and a thin antenna, and at the stern a yellow duct ring surrounds the propeller. The sub rests on two black landing skids, so it sits flat on the seabed or a dock without any water. Plenty of parts are separate objects: the propeller, four coral dive planes, the upper and lower rudders and the hatch, which opens on its rear hinge. The dome and portholes are opaque, with no interior. Like the whole Cozy Boats & Aircraft Kit, it runs smoothly in real time. Tip: add a soft spotlight from the dome for a moody deep-sea dive.
