About this model
This cooling tower 3d model puts the classic power plant icon on your horizon in cozy style. The tower is 12 m tall with a waisted hyperbolic concrete shell, gentle pour lines and two teal accent bands near the top. A cornice carries a yellow railing, and a yellow caged ladder follows the curve of the shell all the way up. At the base a ring of inclined concrete columns forms a cheerful diamond pattern, and through the gaps you can see the blue water of the cooling basin and the dark fill pack inside. Two teal hot water pipes with steel flanges rest on saddles, ready to link to a pump house. Above the opening a soft white steam cloud rises to about 15.8 m. It is a separate semi transparent object named cooling-tower_steam, so you can hide it, scale it or animate it. The model has 32,872 triangles and a base about 9.5 m wide.
