About this model
The heart of every boiler house. This steam boiler 3d model lies on two steel saddles over a concrete plinth and is about 3.5 m long including the burner. The teal insulated shell with light steel bands ends at the back in a dished head and at the front in a flat riveted plate. There you find a round furnace door with a yellow burner, a blower motor with cooling ribs and a small control box with two softly glowing lamps and a rotary switch. Two pressure gauges show green and coral arcs with plain tick marks, and a water level sight glass sits beside the door. On top rise a steam dome with stop valve and yellow handwheel, two brass safety valves and a dark flue stack with rain cap. A yellow ladder, a feed water valve and a blowdown lever finish it off. It is 3.5 m tall with 19,820 triangles.
