About this model
This tunnel portal 3d model marks where the line disappears into a hill. The 10.0 m facade is built from grey ashlar masonry with a round arch framed by cream voussoirs and a large keystone, quoins along the jambs, string courses and a heavy cornice. Two pilasters and sloping wing walls step forward to hold back the cutting, and soft grass cushions cover the crown. The opening is 4.9 m wide, with vertical walls up to 3.7 m and a crown 5.85 m above the rail top, enough for the tallest wagon, the widest boxcar and a raised pantograph of the kit. Inside, a 4 m stone tube gets darker towards the back and ends in a separate dark panel that you can hide for a through tunnel. Eight metres of standard track run 4 m in front and 4 m inside. Size is 10.5 m by 8.0 m at 8.5 m height, 16,614 triangles and 4K PBR textures.
