About this model
This level crossing gate 3d model stops road traffic while a train passes. A tapered boom 7.0 m long, painted in red and white bands with small red reflectors, rests at 1.05 m height in a forked post at its end. Behind the pivot a dark counterweight balances it. The boom with counterweight and reflectors is a separate object called boom, with its origin on the horizontal axis, so it can be raised by about 85 degrees in a game or animation. The drive sits in a cream housing with a door, side vents and a rounded dark roof on a concrete base. On a short pole above it a red warning light glows under a hood in front of a white ring. Size is 7.0 m by 1.0 m at 2.2 m height, with 6,308 triangles and 2K PBR textures. For the St Andrew's cross with flashing lights use the Railway Crossing Signal.
