A straight run of heavy steel chain, the kind that holds a gate shut, hangs from a ship's deck or dangles in a dungeon cell. Fourteen oval links made of thick round bar interlock in the classic alternating pattern, each turned a quarter turn against its neighbor. The dark metal shows lighter worn spots where the links rub against each other, which helps them read clearly against dark backgrounds. All links are a single mesh, so the chain is easy to place and light on draw calls. Duplicate it end to end for longer runs, bend it with a curve modifier in your modeling tool, or split the links if you want to simulate each one with physics. It works as a padlocked barrier on a door, a swing hazard in a platformer or simple industrial clutter. Scale it up for anchor chains or down for jewelry and pendants.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.04 m = 4 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
