Nitrogen makes up most of the air we breathe and sits in every protein. This nitrogen atom 3d model draws its electrons the Bohr way, as a light sculpture of steel rings. The nucleus combines 7 red protons with 7 blue neutrons, the common isotope nitrogen 14. Two concentric shells hold 2 and 5 yellow electrons, the configuration 2, 5 with three unpaired places for bonds. Its support enters the nucleus from below after touching both rings. A blue ring around the foot collar uses the nitrogen colour of the Ammonia Molecule. There are no letters or numbers. At 18.8 cm tall it uses 16,794 triangles and 2K PBR textures. It completes the light element row of the Cozy Science Lab Kit, while the older Atom Model works with crossed orbits instead of flat shells.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.19 m = 19 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
