About this model
This atom 3D model turns the well known atom symbol into a physical teaching model. The nucleus is a tight cluster of 3 red protons and 4 blue neutrons, like a lithium 7 atom. Around it, three steel electron orbits of equal size cross each other at 60 degrees, and each ring carries one glossy yellow electron. A steel stem from the lilac domed foot passes the lowest point of the upright orbit and ends inside the nucleus, so nucleus and orbits are firmly held and nothing hangs in the air. All parts are joined into one closed mesh with clean baked PBR textures. For a flat shell diagram with sodium, choose the Bohr Model from the same set. The model is 22.4 cm tall with orbits 15.5 cm across and has 16,180 triangles with 2K textures.
