About this model
When the sun sets over the harbor, this ship lantern 3d model takes over. The 47 cm lantern is all warm brass: a molded round foot, a clear glass cylinder protected by vertical bars and two guard rings, a domed hood with dark vent slots, a smoke cap and a large carrying ring on top. Inside, a cream candle with a wax drip stands on a brass dish and holds a softly glowing flame. A quarter of the cylinder at the front works as a door with its own glass, wires and latch knob. It is a separate object named ship-lantern_door with its origin on the left hinge, and the flame is a separate emissive object, so you can open the door, light the candle or let it flicker. The glass uses alpha blending. Compared with the square iron Lantern of the Adventure Kit, this one is round and nautical. It has 13,344 triangles.
