About this model
An 11 tonne single drum compactor, about 5.7 m long and 3.1 m high under its canopy. The front is dominated by a steel drum of 1.5 m diameter and 2.1 m width, and the rear rides on two big tyres of 1.4 m. The operator sits in an open station with steering wheel and seat under a protective roof that carries an amber beacon. The drum and both rear tyres are separate objects with their origins on the axles, so rotating them around local X makes the roller crawl forward convincingly. The model has 18,794 triangles with 2K PBR textures. Use it to finish a new road in a city builder, flatten a building site, or as a slow obstacle in a racing or puzzle game. Next to the bulldozer and the portable traffic light it completes a road works scene.
