About this model

A green sea turtle glides forward with its long front flippers spread like wings, head lifted and the small hind flippers trailing behind. The shell is a smooth dome of large plates in amber, chestnut and olive with radiating streaks, edged by a paler rim, while the head, neck and flippers are covered in a mosaic of cream-outlined brown scales. The pale, soft throat and the calm, dark eye give it a gentle expression. The detailed shell pattern and scale texture shine in underwater renders, ocean conservation visuals, aquarium content and slow-motion cinematics, and the mesh gives you a good starting point for custom LODs. Tip: add caustic light patterns and a few drifting particles to sell the underwater depth, and keep the camera slightly below the turtle.

Good for

  • Ocean conservation campaign visual
  • Coral reef cinematic
  • Aquarium or museum display render
  • Slow-motion underwater shot

Engine import notes

Unity GLB · FBX

Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.

Unreal Engine FBX

Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.56 m = 56 cm).

Godot 4 GLB · FBX

Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).

Blender BLEND · GLB

Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.

Use it in: UnityUnrealGodotBlender
