About this model
The ocean's most famous predator glides forward with its mouth slightly open, showing rows of triangular, serrated teeth. The countershading is spot on: a mottled slate-grey back with subtle scarring gives way along a sharp, irregular line to a pure white underside. The tall triangular dorsal fin, broad pectoral fins, small second dorsal and the large crescent tail fin are all in place, and five gill slits line each side of the conical head behind the dark eye. The body curves gently as if the tail is mid-sweep, which makes it read as moving even in a still frame. Scaled to the length of a large adult, it fits reef, open ocean and shark cage scenes. The model shines in renders, underwater cinematics and close-ups, and is a base for your own LODs. Tip: light it from above with caustics and let the belly fall into shadow for maximum tension.
