Electrons do not circle the nucleus on neat tracks, they occupy clouds of probability. This atomic orbitals 3d model shows the first of these shapes. A small red nucleus sits inside a translucent lilac sphere, the s orbital. Through it run the three dumbbell shaped p orbitals, each a pair of see-through lobes meeting at the nucleus: px in red, py in mint and pz in blue. A thin steel axis cross with small end balls marks the directions, and the z axis continues down as the support of a lilac stand. Only s and p orbitals are built, no d shapes. All lobes share one alpha blended mesh. It reaches 24.6 cm in height and 20.6 cm across, using 19,368 triangles. Atom Model and Bohr Model picture orbits and shells, this addition to the kit shows the quantum view.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.25 m = 25 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
