About this model
When the enemy is sighted, this is what gets lit. A round plinth of rubble stones in castle greys, mixed with a few peach stones and topped by a dressed coping ring, holds a thick oak post wrapped in iron bands. Four curved iron arms rise from it and cradle a tulip-shaped fire basket filled with crossed logs. The flame is a soft, stylized shape with several tongues and glowing embers, built as a separate emissive mesh, so you can hide it until the signal is given. A small pile of spare logs leans against the plinth. Add a warm point light just above the basket for real light on the stones around it. Place a chain of these along hilltops for a classic warning relay, or set one on a tower of the Cozy Medieval Kit as a checkpoint that lights up when the player arrives.
