About this model
The classic way to knock on a castle gate. A wooden frame on four spoked wheels carries a gabled roof of light planks with a leather hide patch, and the gables stay open so you can see what hangs inside: a long, smooth ram log with a rounded iron cap at the front. The log hangs from two rope slings like a parallelogram, and both slings pivot on the roof beam, so you can swing the log back and forth in a level motion. The notes in the download explain the exact movement. The wheels rotate as well, and a small blue pennant flies from a golden pole on the ridge. Its friendly, toy-like build fits strategy games, castle sieges and co-op brawlers. It is part of the Cozy Medieval Kit. Tip: add camera shake on impact.
