About this model
Where riders leave their horses while they visit the tavern or the blacksmith. Two oak posts, each set in a small ring of fieldstones, carry a round rail held in place by iron U-straps. Three iron tie rings hang from eyes along the front, and one of them already holds a knotted rope. Beside the right post stands a plank water trough with slanted sides, iron bands and wooden skids, filled with clear blue water, and a small wooden bucket waits next to it. The whole group has no moving parts and reads as one tidy vignette, so you can drop it outside an inn, a stable or a town gate in seconds. In a farming or RPG game it can double as the place where the player's mount appears. Add the horse cart from the Cozy Medieval Kit parked nearby and a busy stable yard is ready.
