About this model

The last steps before take off. The airplane stairs 3d model is a passenger stair truck: a yellow chassis with the cab at the front carries a blue stair flight with rubber treads, yellow nosings and handrails on both sides. At the top a platform with a bumper reaches over the cab at a height of 3.6 m, and an amber beacon glows through an emissive material. Stair, platform and lift rods form one separate object, airplane-stairs_flight, with its origin on the rear hinge pin. It tilts around local X between about minus 4 and plus 3 degrees, negative values raise the platform, and the lift cylinders dip into their housing on the deck. The four wheels are separate objects that spin around their hubs. The truck is about 6.8 m long and 4.7 m tall, with 18,920 triangles and 2K PBR textures.
